CRIME SCENE 9
By Jessie Janeshek

                      If Eddie did it
it was a pepperbox
phone hanging limp on wire

a cop-yellow coatrack
                      electric cigar and a piano

                      a ghost-secretary
          lard-hard tessellate

                      an escritoire decked
          in memorial violets
